Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and TAG INTERACTIVE COMPUTER PROGRAMS DESIGN - L.L.C - S.P.C, the company that makes Tagg. They explain what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and how we resolve problems.
Last updated 20 October 2026
Who we are
Tagg, including the Tagg website, the Tagg apps and every related service we provide (together, “Tagg”), is operated by TAG INTERACTIVE COMPUTER PROGRAMS DESIGN - L.L.C - S.P.C (“Tag Interactive”, “we”, “us”), a sole proprietorship limited liability company established on 7 October 2026 in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and based in Al Ain.
You can reach us at support@tagg.lol. Formal legal notices should be sent to the same address with “Legal notice” in the subject line.
These terms include the following policies, which form part of our agreement with you: the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines, Purchases & refunds, the Copyright Policy and the Cookie Policy. Some features show additional terms when you use them. If those terms conflict with these, the feature’s terms apply to that feature.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account, or by using Tagg without an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Tagg.
You accept these terms electronically, and that acceptance is as binding as a signed agreement.
Tagg is a personal service. You may not use it on behalf of a business or other organisation, or for commercial purposes, unless we have agreed to that in writing.
Who can use Tagg
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use Tagg. Where the law asks more of a service like Tagg, the minimum age is 16: in the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia and South Korea, and in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain. If the law where you live sets a higher minimum age than this, you must meet that age instead.
If you are under 18, or under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use Tagg only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian who has read and agreed to these terms. That parent or guardian is responsible for your use of Tagg, including any purchases.
We may ask you to confirm your age, including through an age-assurance method that the law requires in your country. We may restrict or close an account that we reasonably believe belongs to someone below the minimum age.
You may not use Tagg if we have previously closed your account for breaking these terms, or if you are barred from receiving services like Tagg under the laws that apply to you, including sanctions laws.
Your account
- Accurate details. Give accurate information when you sign up and keep your email address current. We use it to secure your account and to send you notices about it.
- One person, one account. Your account is for you alone. Do not share it, sell it, or let anyone else use it.
- Security. Use a strong password that you do not use elsewhere, and turn on two-factor login. You are responsible for activity on your account unless it happens because we failed to protect it. Tell us straight away at support@tagg.lol if you think someone else has accessed it.
- Sign in with Apple. If you sign in with Apple, Apple’s own terms also apply to that sign-in.
Handles
Your handle is the name that identifies you on Tagg and ends your profile’s web address. You can change it at most once every 30 days, and we hold your previous handle for you for 7 days. A handle is not property and cannot be sold or transferred. We may change or reclaim a handle that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark or other right, breaks the Community Guidelines, or is needed to protect Tagg or its members. Where we can, we will tell you first.
What Tagg provides
Tagg helps you discover, rate, review and organise films, series, anime, games, books and manga. It includes your library and diary, collections and Top Four, a public profile, friends and following, recommendations from Tagg Sense, imports from other services, notifications, cinema showtimes, trailers and profile decorations.
Tagg does not sell, stream, rent or supply the films, series, books or games themselves. Catalogue details such as release dates, where to watch, prices, store offers and showtimes come from third parties. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, so check with the cinema, store or service before you rely on them.
Links to cinemas, bookshops, game stores, streaming services and other sites take you to services we do not operate. Their terms and privacy policies apply there, and any purchase you make is between you and them.
We develop Tagg continuously, so features may be added, changed or removed. Features marked as a preview or test may change or end at any time. If a change materially reduces a paid feature during a period you have already paid for, Purchases & refunds explains your options.
We work to keep Tagg available and secure, but we cannot promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may pause parts of Tagg for maintenance, security or legal reasons.
Some features, such as creating an account, purchases or AI features, may not be available in every country, for legal or practical reasons. Where a feature is unavailable where you are, Tagg tells you.
Tagg Sense and AI features
Tagg Sense is Tagg’s own recommendation system. It uses your ratings, library and activity to suggest titles. Some features, such as Help me choose, can also use an artificial intelligence model from a third-party provider to understand what you ask for, and only after you allow it. The Privacy Policy explains what information these features use and how you control them.
Recommendations and AI responses are suggestions, not facts or professional advice. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for you. Use your own judgement, particularly about age ratings and content warnings.
- Do not include sensitive personal information about yourself or anyone else in a request.
- Do not use AI features to create unlawful, harmful or infringing content, to extract the instructions, models or data behind them, or to get around usage limits.
AI features may have usage limits, and some may require Tagg Edition. We may change or withdraw these features and limits.
Your content
“Your content” means everything you add to Tagg: ratings, reviews, diary entries, notes, collections, comments, replies, profile details, links, images, stickers, imported history and anything else you submit.
You own it
You keep ownership of your content. We do not claim it as ours.
The permission you give us
So that we can run Tagg, you give Tag Interactive a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, adapt and display your content, and to distribute it to the audience you choose. This lets us, for example, save your review, resize your profile picture, show your collection to your friends and include a public review in a share card or an Explore shelf. We may let our service providers use your content only to help us provide Tagg. We may also show content you have made public on Tagg’s own website, apps and social media accounts to promote Tagg, crediting your handle where practical.
The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except that: copies may remain in our backups for a limited time; we may keep content where the law requires it or to deal with a report, dispute or investigation; and anonymous, aggregated information, such as how many members rated a title, no longer identifies you and may remain.
To the extent the law allows, you agree that adapting your content for display, such as cropping, resizing, or showing an excerpt with a link to the full piece, does not infringe any moral rights you have in it.
Your audience
You choose who sees your profile and much of your content: Everyone, Friends or Only me. Content set to Everyone can be seen by anyone on the internet, including people who are not signed in, and others can share it. A public collection is public even if your profile is set to Friends. Check the audience before you post.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your content. By posting it, you confirm that you have the rights needed to grant the licence above and that your content follows these terms and the Community Guidelines. When you import history from another service, you confirm that you are entitled to export that data and to bring it to Tagg.
We do not review content before it is posted, but we may review, restrict or remove content at any time, including in response to a report.
Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
Rules for using Tagg
Follow the Community Guidelines and the law. In particular, you must not:
- post or share anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- harass, threaten, bully, impersonate or deceive other people, or share their private information;
- post, request or link to any material that sexualises children. We report it to the competent authorities and close the account;
- manipulate ratings, reviews, popularity, follower counts or recommendations, including through fake accounts, coordinated campaigns or paid engagement;
- send spam, scams, phishing or malicious software;
- access Tagg using bots, scrapers or other automated means, or copy, extract or index Tagg’s content or data, except for public search engines indexing public pages, material we publish under an open licence, or with our written permission;
- use any content or data from Tagg, including members’ content and catalogue data, to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine-learning or artificial intelligence models;
- copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the Tagg apps or services, except where the law expressly allows it;
- probe, scan or test the security of Tagg, or bypass any access control, usage limit, paywall or block. Report security issues to support@tagg.lol instead;
- interfere with Tagg or overload our systems;
- sell, rent or transfer accounts, handles, Stamps or decorations, or use Tagg to advertise or sell anything without our permission;
- create a new account to get around a suspension, ban or block.
Tagg’s content and intellectual property
Tagg’s software, design and content belong to Tag Interactive or our licensors and are protected by the copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws of the United Arab Emirates and other countries. That includes the Tagg name and wordmark, our logos, artwork, paper materials, icons, the book, film, game-case and collection-box designs, Tagg Sense and the Tagg apps.
While you follow these terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Tagg apps and website for your own non-commercial use. You may share Tagg links and the share cards Tagg creates for you. You may not use our name, logos or designs in any other way without our written permission.
Titles, posters, cover art, stills, synopses and trailers belong to their respective owners. We show them under licences and terms from our catalogue sources, which are listed on the Credits page, and they are for viewing on Tagg only. The exception is material we publish under an open licence: text adapted from TVmaze and Wikipedia is available under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0, as explained in Credits for catalogue sources and reusable source data.
Open-source software in Tagg is provided under its own licence. Where that licence conflicts with these terms, the open-source licence applies to that software.
Paid features
Most of Tagg is free. Tagg Edition, the OG Launch Pass, Stamps and Shop decorations are paid or virtual items. Purchases & refunds forms part of these terms and covers prices, renewal, cancellation and refunds.
Purchases in the Tagg app are made through Apple’s App Store and are also subject to Apple’s terms. Purchases on the website are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for those orders.
Stamps and decorations give you a limited, personal licence to use them in Tagg. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another account, and are not your property. They end when your account ends.
Reports, moderation and enforcement
You can report a review, comment, profile, collection or title from its menu in Tagg, block other members, or write to support@tagg.lol. Copyright reports follow the Copyright Policy.
If we reasonably believe that content or an account breaks these terms or the law, puts anyone at risk, or exposes Tagg or other members to harm or legal liability, we may:
- remove content, hide it from others, or add a warning such as a spoiler label;
- limit features, such as publishing, uploading, commenting, friend requests or appearing in discovery;
- suspend or permanently close the account, and any other accounts we reasonably believe are run by the same person to avoid enforcement.
We consider how serious the issue is, whether it was intentional, and the account’s history. We will usually tell you what we did and why, unless the law prevents it or telling you would put someone at risk or compromise an investigation. Where the law requires or where someone may be in danger, we may share information with the competent authorities, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Appeals
If you believe we removed your content or restricted your account in error, write to support@tagg.lol from the email address on your account within six months of the decision. Tell us what happened and why you think the decision was wrong.
A person, not an automated system, will review your appeal and tell you the outcome. If we got it wrong, we will restore your content or account where we can. Appealing does not affect any other legal rights you have.
For other complaints about safety on Tagg, including under the UK Online Safety Act, see Complaints in the Community Guidelines.
Ending your account
If you leave
You can stop using Tagg at any time. To delete your account, open Settings › Account & security in the Tagg app and choose Delete account, or email support@tagg.lol from the address on your account. Deletion is scheduled for 30 days later. During that time your profile is hidden, and you can cancel by signing in and choosing Keep my account. After 30 days your account is deleted permanently, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can download a copy of your data before you go.
Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it in your Apple account settings to stop future charges.
If we end it
We may suspend or close your account under the enforcement section above, if the law requires us to, or if we stop providing Tagg. We may also close an account that has not been used for at least two years, after telling you by email at least 30 days beforehand. Where we close an account for reasons other than a breach of these terms, we will refund any prepaid period you have not used, as described in Purchases & refunds.
The sections on your content, Tagg’s content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, disputes and the general terms continue to apply after your account ends.
Third-party services
Parts of Tagg rely on services from other companies, whose own terms apply when you use them:
- Trailers play in YouTube’s embedded player. By watching them you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies.
- Sign in with Apple, the App Store and push notifications are provided by Apple.
- Security checks at sign-up and sign-in use Cloudflare Turnstile.
- Sharing to Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Telegram, X, Discord and similar apps is governed by those apps’ terms once the content leaves Tagg.
- Website payments are handled by Paddle under its buyer terms.
We are not responsible for third-party services or their content, and we may change the services we use.
Disclaimers
Tagg is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no promises or warranties about Tagg, express or implied, including that it will be accurate, reliable, uninterrupted, secure or fit for a particular purpose, or that catalogue information, recommendations, AI responses or members’ content are correct. Members’ content represents the views of the members who post it, not ours.
Nothing in these terms excludes any warranty, guarantee or right that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tag Interactive, its owner, employees and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from or related to Tagg or these terms, even if we were told such loss was possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising from or related to Tagg or these terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Tagg in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) AED 400.
We are not responsible for the conduct of other members or third parties, on or off Tagg.
These limits do not apply to liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or to any other liability that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate Tag Interactive for any claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs, including legal fees, that arise from your content, your breach of these terms or your violation of anyone’s rights or the law. This section does not apply to you to the extent that consumer law where you live prohibits it.
Disputes and governing law
If you have a problem with Tagg, please contact us first at support@tagg.lol. Most issues can be resolved quickly that way. Before either of us starts formal proceedings, we will both try in good faith to resolve the dispute for at least 30 days after one of us notifies the other in writing.
These terms, and any dispute arising from or related to them or to Tagg, are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer and the law where you live gives you the benefit of mandatory protections, or the right to bring proceedings in your local courts, these terms do not take those rights away.
To the extent permitted by law, you and we each agree to bring claims only on an individual basis, and not as a claimant or member in any class, collective or representative proceeding.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to Tagg, the law or our business. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will notify you by email or in Tagg at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the change is needed sooner for legal or security reasons or concerns a new feature. The date at the top of this page shows when the terms last changed.
If you continue to use Tagg after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using Tagg and delete your account. For a paid subscription, a change that affects its price or features applies from your next renewal.
General
- Entire agreement. These terms and the policies they include are the whole agreement between you and us about Tagg, and replace any earlier agreement on the same subject.
- Language. These terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by law.
- Severability. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, and the unenforceable part is applied as closely to its intent as the law allows.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a part of these terms, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Transfer. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another company, for example as part of a reorganisation, merger or sale of Tagg, provided your rights are not reduced. You may not transfer yours.
- Events beyond our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages of internet, hosting or power providers, natural disasters, war or government action.
- Notices. We may send notices to the email address on your account or show them in Tagg. You can send notices to support@tagg.lol.
- No third-party rights. No one other than you and us, and Apple as described below, has rights under these terms.
Apple App Store terms
These additional terms apply if you downloaded a Tagg app from Apple’s App Store:
- These terms are between you and Tag Interactive, not Apple. Tag Interactive, not Apple, is responsible for the Tagg app and its content.
- Your licence to use the app is limited to Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including through Family Sharing where it applies.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app, and any other claims, losses or costs from a failure to conform to a warranty are Tag Interactive’s responsibility to the extent these terms make them so.
- Tag Interactive, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app, including product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer-protection, privacy or similar laws.
- If a third party claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, Tag Interactive, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a United States government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use the app, such as your mobile data agreement.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Questions, complaints or claims about the app should be sent to TAG INTERACTIVE COMPUTER PROGRAMS DESIGN - L.L.C - S.P.C, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, at support@tagg.lol.
